I was told that if I did x and y, my account would be restored. At some point that gives way to banned with dubious reasoning, while incompetent support does nothing but try to placate your concerns with false promises, as your credit card is being charged over and over while you have no access to the site due to them unilaterally preventing you from doing so. I'm sure for the first while its great to everyone. Business is focused on cheating and their icons are not actually good, combining with the price it came to $5/icon. I kind of agree, I should have been paying closer attention to early warning signs. They responded that they can refund for one month only and that this is my problem. Unfortunately, just the screenshot survived after 6 month. I have contacted their customer support and provided the documented cancelation. And in the busy life forgot about it until 6 month later I have received a notification from freepik that they can't charge my card, (It was cancelled for other reasons). Sniffing problems from no notification, and no customer support phone number, I have saved the web response about cancellation of the subscription. I have followed instructions to go to settings and unsubscribe from monthly premium. I did use a few of their icons for my presentation. I have subscribed for monthly premium because they did not have a one month limited option. If you don't have money to waste, be sure you don't input your payment info into their system at any point in time or they'll just charge the heck out of you-without remorse or consequence. So watch yourself when you create an account with them. The chargebacks for this company must be through the roof with shady terms like that. There is absolutely no way that I'm the only customer screwed over like this. So all that money was wasted for nothing and they walk away without consequence. I requested a refund from Freepik for the unauthorized charges and was denied because I had "agreed to the terms". I had to flag the charges with my bank in order to even get the charges to stop.

They confirmed that the account was indeed on a free plan-yet they continued to allow the charges. I contacted them multiple times telling them that my account showed it was on a free plan and I complained that I was still being charged. I got charged $120 for a service never used, and when I contacted them about the unauthorized charges they told me I had in fact authorized them simply by agreeing to their Terms of Use when I opened the account. Better check their Terms of Use closely before agreeing to them.
